Rick Dunkle spent 20 years in Hollywood writing and producing at major studios and Fortune 500 companies, including ABC Studios, CBS Studios, CBS Network, Columbia Pictures, Disney Studios, eOne, Fox, Hasbro, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures, Touchstone Television, and Viacom. He is best known for his work as a producer and writer on the globally successful TV drama series, CRIMINAL MINDS, a behavioral profiling-centric, fictionalized crime franchise whose ever-expanding universe claimed Rick’s creative and strategic talents for 12 years. Dunkle departed California and returned to his Indiana roots earlier this year and now heads the Television program at the University of Indianapolis as Assistant Professor of Practice in Communication and General Manager of UINDY TV. He also serves as the founding president of Inspired Content, an Indianapolis-based non-profit production company focused on training new voices to develop, write and create original content that spotlights and helps fund charities in need.
